I saw a bass made in 10mm bar at a shop in Victor harbour, it was basically made up of semi circles of bar then welded, to sort of, take the shape of the Bass body, none of it was to scale, and it had a price tag of $1000.oo

SO...As you do I said " I could make that" and for once I did.

The body is the exact shape of the Dolphin double bass, with all correct curves in the right place. shaped by hand around some pre formed blocks of steel, and a set of rollers, No oxy accet., just the Tig torch used to heat up areas, and then finally create the unique burnt and multi coloured temperring colours.

there is a provission to put a glass shelf in, to turn it into say, a wine rack or a CD rack, but looks stunning as it is, in any room , believe me..

I was going to sell it, but feel it is a part of me now, and besides the Missus actually loves it too... haaa

So if you want one like this as a feature in your place, then i will make a limited edition , of 13, as special commissions, and each will be different and unique, my next plan will be a Gretcsh guitar and a few other instruments that make up the Rock N Roll, any ideas, i would love to hear them, and finally a fullsize working mirror polished aluminium bass, which apparently has one awesome sound!!
